Ethical Business
What we do
Carbon Awareness
Small World believes the single most pressing ethical issue for business today is the environment. To this end the company has committed itself to reducing its environment footprint. Small World's own factory which employs 218 people is 85% solar powered. Across the factory and our offices in Hong Kong, Wei Hai and Toronto we have achieved 26% reduction in our Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions since 2010.
All other Scope 3 carbon emissions generated as a result of Small World's activities, from the tractors in the fields to cargo vessels carrying goods have been offset.
The owners and management of Small World are committed to using their position within global hometextiles to push through environmental change from within the system.

Ethical Business
Open and transparent
As a global leader, we are committed to using our position within the home textiles and tabletop market to push through the vital importance for environmental change across all touchpoints of our industry.
To this point, we strongly believe that any environmental action should be open and transparent, and so within this section of our website you’ll find a full explanation of our processes, and we are of course happy to provide further detail if required.
In support of our campaign measures, we also offer a free service to audit other organisations, together with giving advice on baseline reductions and arranging purchase of Offsets direct from natural energy plants.
